Everything you might want to know before your first class. Still curious? Drop us a line.
Do I need experience to join a class?
Our classes are designed to welcome every level, from absolute beginner to seasoned practitioner. If you are new, we recommend starting with Fundamentals class.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable activewear you can move in, and grip socks (we sell them at the studio if you need a pair). We recommend bringing a water bottle, everything else is provided.
How early should I arrive?
Arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, set up, and relax before class! To ensure an uninterrupted session, doors close at start time and late entry is not allowed.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 12 hours before class for a full credit refund. Cancellations within that window forfeit the credit.
Do credits expire?
Credits are valid for the period stated on your package. Subscription credits roll month-to-month while your membership is active.
What if a payment fails?
What if prices change after I sign up?
Price changes never apply retroactively to credits or class packs you already paid for. If your membership price changes, we email you at least 30 days in advance, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
How does the Balance Membership work?
Do unused membership classes roll over?
Who can use the intro offer?
How long are class packs valid?
Class packs are valid for a fixed period from the date of purchase, usually 60 or 90 days, shown at checkout. Unused credits expire at the end of that period.
Can I still join class if I arrive late?
Unfortunately no, late entry is not possible once class has started. Arriving late counts as a no-show and the class credit is forfeited. Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early.
What if my instructor or class time changes?
What if Elevate cancels my class?
If we cancel a class, your credit is always returned in full, or we offer an equivalent alternative of your choice.
Can I get a refund on my purchase?
All purchases, intro offers, class packs and memberships, are final and non-refundable, including unused credits.
I'm injured or moving away, can I pause my credits?
In exceptional circumstances (long-term injury, relocation, serious medical issue) we may pause or transfer credits at our discretion. Email us and we'll find a fair solution together.
What's the cancellation policy for private sessions?
I'm pregnant, can I still take classes?
Please let us know before booking so we can advise whether our classes are suitable for your stage of pregnancy and suggest modifications. Bring a doctor's clearance if you have one, and always inform your instructor at the start of class.
I have an injury or medical condition. What should I do?
Tell us in advance if you have a chronic condition (heart issues, high blood pressure, disc issues, recent surgery, etc.) so we can advise on suitability. For a recent injury, inform your instructor at the start of class, never work through pain.
What if I feel unwell during class?
Is there an age requirement?
Are my belongings safe during class?
We provide storage space in the studio, but please don't leave valuables behind, Elevate can't be held responsible for personal belongings left in the studio or changing area.
Is there a minimum term for memberships?
How do I cancel my membership?
Once your 3-month minimum term has passed, you can cancel anytime yourself, in the app under Profile or on the website from your dashboard. Cancelling stops your membership from renewing, so no further payments are taken, and you keep access to your remaining credits until the end of the cycle you have already paid for.
A simple example: say your membership renews on the 28th and you cancel on the 10th. No payment is taken on the 28th. You can keep using your classes until the 28th, and after that your membership simply stops. You are never charged for any time after the day you cancel.
Will I still be charged after I cancel?
Can I freeze or cancel my membership?
Memberships have a 3-month minimum term. After that you can cancel at any time yourself from your dashboard. Cancelling stops your membership from renewing, no further payments are taken, and you keep access until the end of the cycle you have already paid for.
How does membership billing work?
Memberships renew automatically every 28 days from the date of your first successful payment. There is a 3-month minimum term; after that you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. When you cancel, billing stops right away and you keep access until the end of the cycle you have already paid for. No further payments are taken.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. Going on holiday or need a short break? You can pause your membership instead of cancelling it.
How much you can pause (per rolling 12 months):
- Once a year for 4 weeks, or
- Twice a year for 2 weeks each.
What happens while you are paused:
- You are not charged during the pause.
- Your membership credits are frozen: they keep their full value and do not expire during the break.
- You cannot book classes with your membership while it is paused (any separately bought class packs do still work).
- Everything resumes automatically when the pause ends. Your billing date and credit validity simply shift forward by the length of the pause, so nothing is lost.
Good to know:
- Pausing is available after your 3-month minimum term, the same as cancelling.
- You arrange it yourself from your dashboard: open the Subscription card and tap Pause membership, then choose 2 or 4 weeks.
